I’m ready to put people before parties.

Lancastrians deserve someone who understands that real problems aren’t solved by two parties. With an agriculture background, a family history of service, and passion to do what’s right, Josh is ready to find solutions.

Josh Deering, a white man wearing rectangular half-frame glasses, a professional white button down shirt, and a yellow and blue neck tie.

Meet Josh

A fishing rod sits propped on a rock over a stream. A few scattered leaves float in the water, dropped by trees shading the area.
The sun rises over a green field, backlighting an American flag
Two park rangers survey a beautiful forest. They are in an outlook post with binoculars, marking a point on a map on the table in front of them.

As a Lancaster native and graduate from Penn State’s College of Agriculture, the rich farm land and beautiful hunting and fishing grounds of Lancaster county are deeply personal to Josh. His years as a public servant with Pennsylvania’s Fish and Boat Commission have given him a hand in the responsibility of preserving our county’s heritage for generations to come. This work has also given him an appreciation for the efforts that allow current Lancastrians to enjoy everything the county offers to its fullest.

A Mount Joy borough council member, as well as the son of an army veteran, and grandson of two more vets, Josh doesn’t take the sacrifices that our service-members have made for granted. He looks forward to the opportunity to serve you.
